The $20 GPS Decoder Program was written for Windows 95/98/2000. This program allows you to monitor all functions of the GPS Receiver and control many options available. Several screens show status of the receiver and signal strength of the satellites. Accurate time and other diagnostic information is also available.

$20 GPS Receiver Modifications

The modifications are simple. Cutting three traces to release the power of your GPS Receiver. Adding two jumpers allow you to tap into the data returned by the GPS Unit. All that is required are simple tools and some small gauge wire. A nice evening project.
